Cars 3 barely sped past Wonder Woman (if you consider a 10M$ difference barely) at the box office, bringing in just under 54M$. To be fair, the heroine had dominated for two weeks and only slid down a single spot. All Eyez on Me (26M$), a Tupac Shakur documentary, came in third. This left The Mummy (14.5M$) and 47 Meters Down (11M$) bringing up the rear. Rough Night had a rough open — netting a mere 8M$ — unable to not only breach the Top 5, but to come in seventh under Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which has been out a month.
