I suppose, after roughly a year, it wouldn't hurt to stray from some of the more controversial subject matter swirling around the world of Magic: The Gathering! Not that I don't already take "breaks" lasting weeks at a time, it will be nice to have a change of scenery.
The A to Z Challenge is a blog hop that consists of writing a blog post every day throughout the month of April, aside from Sundays. Not only that, but each post's subject/title is dictated by a different letter of the alphabet, starting with the letter "A" and working your way to letter "Z". It sounds easy, but it can really be a pain in the ass to think of an entry sometimes. A lot of people use themes to help mitigate this issue, and while I avoided that my first couple of years participating in the challenge (on my I, Jak blog), I'm down with it now! Especially since I'll be attempting to do multiple blogs this year!
And now, the moment you've been waiting for:
A to Z 2016: The Cryton Collection Edition
For this year's challenge, I'll simply be taking random (or not so random) cards from my collection and sharing them. I'm sure some entries will be accompanied by stories or opinions on why I like or dislike the selection, but I'm really hoping to keep most posts short and sweet. Plus, I like to show off some of my favorite pieces now and again. Chances are, there are way too many cards I'd like to share that double up with a shared letter, so it's going to be rough picking which cards make the cut! A challenge within a challenge!
I'm really looking forward to this! I always welcome a reason to go rummaging through my collection!
As I mentioned above, I'm also doing the challenge on my other blogs:
I, Jak Theme Reveal
Generation Jak Theme Reveal
Dreams in the Shade of Ink Theme Reveal
If you're curious about some of the different content I write about, check out the other themes! Or just stick around here, dive in, and reminisce with me as I delve into the abyss that is my Magic collection!
Are you participating in the 2016 A to Z Challenge? If so, are you following a specific theme? Do you play Magic: The Gathering? If so, do you have a large collection? Do you have any favorite Magic cards?
