EXTRA LIFE GAME DAY 2019

This Saturday marks Extra Life’s annual 24-Hour Gaming Marathon event! If unfamiliar, Extra Life is a non-profit organization that runs a year-round fundraising campaign for children through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. While the fundraising takes place all year long, they have their annual Game Day event, which places focus on raising proceeds through participants engaged in some form of gaming related hobby. I believe the initiative began with video games, but they have since embraced all forms of gaming.

That’s good news for me, because I love board games!

So once again my team, The Cryton Crusaders (Year 3), and I (Year 6) will partake in the challenge, attempting to raise money for children in need via gaming! I’ve just recently reached my soft goal of 200$, so I’ve more than doubled it to 500$. This is a lofty goal I’ve come close to reaching in the past, but keep falling short of. I figure it’s a long-shot, but really, any and all money donated on my/our behalf is amazing!

If you are interested in donating on my behalf (or another team member’s) and/or are just curious to learn more about the event and/or my history with the organization, please take a moment to check out my Extra Life profile:
