With little effort Spider-Man: Homecoming swung into the top slot at the box office with 117M$ and so far the feedback has been positive! I'm really hoping I get to see it in the theaters! The Minions keep Despicable Me 3 in the game with just over 33.6M$. Baby Driver (13M$), Wonder Woman (just under 10M$), and Transformers: The Last Knight (roughly 6.5M$) round out the top five.

Will the apes take over this weekend? I feature the final trailer for War for the Planet of the Apes below and offer some thoughts. And could Marvel finally disappoint me?! I also share some movie and video game gunslinging!
