A to Z 2017: SHADOWS OVER INNISTRAD

Today, after a brief hiatus, we return with another booster pack opening video. I was unable to find affordable Return to Ravnica packs (the local store wanted double the price), which was a bummer, but I enjoyed doing the Ravnica write-up.

Shadows of Innistrad, however, is still plentiful and standard price. But I've got a bad feeling about this, because we didn't really hit anything in its counterpart, Eldritch Moon. This revisit to Innistrad hasn't been panning out so far in terms of awesome foils! It's become a wretched place.

And the curse continues! Well, I had a feeling there weren't any foils in the packs. A shame that some of the Mythic/Rares I got weren't worth anything, I was at least hopeful one of them would have been. Maybe those new dual lands will increase in value over time?

I believe we only have one more booster pack opening video lined up for the rest of the A to Z, which is next week. After that, it's all merely exploring a specific set. I still have no idea what to do for "X" or "Y"...

Do you currently play Magic: The Gathering? Are you a fan of Shadows Over Innistrad? If so, what's your favorite card and/or ability/mechanic from the set? Did you like that Innistrad was revisited? Did you enjoy the storyline of the block, or did you find it tiresome? Did you enjoy the booster pack opening video? Any tips or thoughts on how to improve them?
