A to Z 2015 : THE X-FILES
This next A to Z feature is based off of one of my favorite TV shows. Though, admittedly, towards the end I kind of fell off until the last few episodes/series finale. There are 2 movies, with a third in the talks, which is making me nostalgic to watch the series completely from start to finish. For a brief time there was even a CCG card game released, which I collected (and still own), but I never played.

A to Z 2015 : WITNESS
This next entry focuses on a co-op deduction game that borrows from another game known as Telephone. It can potentially play in 15 Min or less, and there are very few rules whatsoever, so it definitely classifies as a Gateway/Filler game.
A strong caveat, however, is that you need exactly four players to play...
A to Z 2015 : UBONGO
This next entry is another game that qualifies as both a Gateway and Filler. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to offer up a "U" beyond Uno, and I have been intentionally avoiding classics whenever possible. Though, I wasn't opposed to variants of classics since many people may not know of them. As it turns out, I was invited to a Game Night by a friend of my regular gaming group. The host ended up having thousands of games in his collection!
So that night alone I fulfilled my experience quota of "U", "V", and "Y" games, which I was still needing to figure out. The collection was amazing! This entry, a game that reminds me of Tetris, is...
A to Z 2015 : TAKENOKO
Splendor made for an excellent Christmas gift. It's light, fun, and fairly accessible to people with varying levels of gaming experience. But what if I had given a panda? The receiver of the gift would then have to tend to its needs by starting a bamboo garden. But what if the panda was constantly eating all of the bamboo?!
That is a similar tale told in our next entry in which the Emperor of China bestows the gift of a panda to the Emperor of Japan, as a token of peace, in a garden full of...
It’s been a long while. I briefly discuss some of this year’s shortcomings, and in doing so, find it’s just more of the same.
Then I attempt to give a more positive spin…
Extra Life Game Day 2021 has arrived! It’s Year 8 for myself and I am looking forward to once again raise money for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. Team Cryton Crusaders is ready (kind of) for the annual fundraising event involving a 24-Hour Gaming Marathon! I kept last year’s fun, but likely impossible Milestone to reach!
