I just came across a friend's Facebook post, linking a video, and I just kind of watched it thinking: What the ever-living fuck is that thing?!
That thing is the Capybara (no, not Chupacabra — Capybara), apparently the world's largest rodent. A hoppy, web-footed, guinea pig looking creature — native to South America — that loves the water and chewing on everything. They also seem to get on fairly well with most people and animals too...
I dunno, they are either really laid back and incredibly patient, or they are just lazy as hell. I feel like they have a little sloth in them. Regardless, they are a popular exotic pet, but are high maintenance, so they aren't recommended for everyone.
I already have a douchecanoe cow-cat that scratches up the place, I definitely don't need an oversized rodent biting everything either! So yeah, that's a Capybara... Yeeeeeeeep...
Have you ever heard of a Capybara? Come on, be honest, no one is winning any prizes here, you've never seen that creature before in your entire life, am I right?! Would you consider having one as a pet? Do you have any other exotic pets?
